Flacciana

Flacciana sits near the end of a parchment sheet, and its name starts early, pushed back over the end of the previous stretch from Sibus. Either the copyist drew the bend for the new stretch too late, or he wanted to keep the name from running off the sheet. The place lay on a road from Mustis, on the great highway from Carthage to Theveste, into Numidia, fourteen Roman miles from Sibus and fourteen from Siguese. One suggestion puts it at ruins near El Kef, the ancient Sicca Veneria.
