Flacci Taberna

Flacci Taberna, the inn of Flaccus, lay sixteen Roman miles, about twenty-four kilometres, from Oea, today Tripoli, and the map counts twenty more on to Cercar. The parchment here has a gash, and holes from the thread of a repair can still be seen. Whether the distance figure beside it is complete is hard to say, though the copyist may have placed it to avoid a tear that was already there. The exact site is unknown, somewhere south-east of Oea.
