Vasidice lay in the hills of Africa Proconsularis at Ain Tamatmat, near Souk Ahras in Algeria, where the remains of a small fort of the Byzantine type stand among modest ruins. The map sets it six Roman miles from Ad Molas and five from Thagora, on the road from Tipasa to Naraggara.
