Eudagina

? Gegend von Gemerek ? oder Süvegenler

Eudagina is probably a garbled form of Euagina, a town that the geographer Ptolemy places in the Cappadocian district of Kilikia. Where it belongs on the map is disputed. Older research thought it had slipped onto the wrong road and really belonged on the route from Caesarea to Melitene drawn just below, perhaps because the eye jumped between two similar names, Arasaxa on the lower road and Armaza just above it. On that view the station lay at Süvegenler, near the crossing of the Zamantı river, where two rock-cut tombs have been found. Others keep it on its road, near ruins south of Gemerek.
