Road station
Darathe
Daras Kuh? between Onoadas and Konkovar (Barrington)
Darathe is usually sought near Behistun in western Iran, by the mountain range of Daras Kuh, and may be the place Ptolemy lists as Larasa or Darasa. That would put it close to Berdanna, which is itself equated with Behistun, so the two entries might even be one and the same place. Darathe would then be one of the stations on the way to Susa, which the map wrongly labels Ecbatana. Behistun had been a station on the roads of western Iran since Achaemenid times.
