Danas

Danas may be only half a name. The Ravenna list also gives it as Rudanas or Rundanas, and older research argued that on the map a single name nobody understood was split in two: the river Rhamma beside it and Danas itself. Behind it would stand Radanu, the cuneiform name of the river Adhaim, which Syrian and Arab writers still used for the region. One suggestion places the station at Kefri. The map counts thirty-six Roman miles, about fifty-three kilometres, from Nisistu.
