Road station

Cerva

Henchir-Safia

Cerva was a road junction in Africa Proconsularis, at Henchir Safia. Two roads meet here on the map, one coming twenty-three Roman miles from Ad Pretorium, the other twenty from Alonianum, and the road on to Ad Turres runs thirty-three miles; only the junction itself marks where that last stretch begins. Older research placed the station at Bir el Ater instead. The Ravenna list knows it by the same name.
