Cesernia, perhaps at Sapri on its sheltered bay or near Maratea, is known otherwise only from the list of places compiled in Ravenna, and it seems to have taken the place of the older harbour town of Buxentum, which the map leaves out. The map has some oddities here: the distance to Blanda is written sideways, perhaps so as not to run into the B of Blanda, and the road line strangely runs down to the shore.
