Arsinia
Ergani
Arsinia lay at Ergani, once Arghana, on the road from Melitene to Amida, closer to the Tigris than to the Euphrates. Arabic writers called the place Alran and the Byzantines Arlon, while the Ravenna list writes both Arsinia and Arsania. The map sets it fourteen Roman miles from Corvilu and another fourteen from Coissa.
