Road station
Ange
Anar (Miller)
Ange may hide inside a puzzling name in Pliny: among the cities of Media he lists a Phisganzaga, which older research read as Pyctis and Ange run together into one word. The Ravenna list has Ange or Angae. The station is placed at Anar, while another reading equates it with Nain. The map gives twenty-seven from Pyctis and sixteen on to Rages, figures that on this road probably count Persian parasangs.
