Nisaci
Abadah (Miller)
Nisaci is the Niserge of the geographer Ptolemy, a town in Persis between Persepolis and Sykta; the Ravenna list writes Nessaci. One older explanation takes the name from a native word for little Nisa, meaning pasture land, and places the town at Abadah. The road here is a tangle: the map seems to have worked the route from Susa to Persepolis into the one from Ecbatana, and the stretch from Siacus to Portipa was taken over from the latter. The exact site cannot be fixed.
