Road station

Abara

Abara was placed by older research at Abu Sita, where the roads from Babylon and from Seleucia crossed, and compared with Azara in Elymais, a place with rich temples of Venus and Diana. On the map it is a plain name, twenty Roman miles from Dorista and another twenty from Currapho.
