Ancus was a station on the road from Senia to Iader in the Lika region of Croatia, probably at Vrebac on the Lika river, or at Ribnik. Roman tombs have been found there, and nearby at Kula a milestone from the time of Trajan, though without a figure. Apart from this map, only the list of places compiled in Ravenna names it. The map sets Ancus sixteen Roman miles from Epidotium and fifteen from Ausancalio.
