Road station

Aelea

Radomir (Miller)

Listen to the story

Aelea, a name found only on this map, was a station on the road from Pautalia to Serdica, the Roman Sofia, placed by older research at Radomir in Bulgaria. Greek altars have turned up at several villages along this road. On the map space ran short here: Aelea has no distance figure of its own, and the figures written near Pautalia may belong either to it or to its neighbour.

Fully based on scientific information from TP-Online (KU Eichstätt-Ingolstadt).
