Seva Vicina
Sewah (Miller)
Seva Vicina is the Iranian town of Saveh, between Tehran and Qom, dressed up in Latin: vicina means near or neighbouring. It lay on the road from Ecbatana, modern Hamadan, to Qom, at a fork where another branch led off to Rhagai. The whole region was a crossroads long before Rome, at least since the 4th millennium BC, where routes from Mesopotamia, Bactria and Carmania met on what is called the Great Khorasan Road.
