Sestias, a station on the coast road between Senigallia and Ancona, lay near Chiaravalle by the river Esino, and its name has come down in several forms: the list of places compiled in Ravenna has Sextia, and older research even wanted to change it altogether. On the map there was no room for the full distance to Ancona, so the last two strokes of the fourteen are written above the rest.
