Serre

Serre is a bare name on the road, eight Roman miles from Apammari and thirteen from Betamali. It may be the Gerre of the geographer Ptolemy. Older research linked it with Roman ruins at Bumbudj, but the site is now left unlocated, and on the map not even the point where the stretch towards Betamali begins is marked.
