Road station
Pisauta
Vijayadrug
Pisauta stands alone on the map, a name with no road leading to it. It is most likely Byzantion, a harbour on the west coast of India named in a Greek guide to the sea routes and by the geographer Ptolemy, and today it is identified with Vijayadrug. The Greek-sounding name probably garbles a local one, so it is no proof that traders from the Mediterranean were present there. The Ravenna list writes Pasate.
