Masabi
Masabi hangs on a single letter. The first letter is hard to make out on the parchment: older copies read an N, Nasabi, the form the name takes where it appears again on the road from Artaxata, but a close inspection of the parchment in 2003 favoured an M. Since the neighbouring Sorve is also spelt two ways, the map may simply carry both forms. Older research took Nasabi for Nakhchivan. The map counts twenty-four Roman miles from Anteba and seventeen on to Isumbo.
