Garmias
Garmias appears in this form only on the map. The Ravenna list writes Carmas, and both probably go back to Karima, which the geographer Ptolemy lists among the places of the Tectosages, one of the Galatian tribes. Older research also wondered whether it was a garbled Germa, but the site speaks against that. If the name is sound, it is Celtic. Where it lay is uncertain: one suggestion is Kaçarlı, which stands on an old settlement, with the remains of an old bridge built into a new one just west of it; another looks a little further west, at the northern tip of Lake Tatta.
