Gaganis, the Roman Gaganae, was a station on the road from Dierna on the Danube to Tibiscum, placed at Armeniș in the Romanian Banat. Older research suggested Slatina, where a Roman tombstone was found that seems to put the place within the territory of Drobeta. The map sets Gaganis nine Roman miles from Ad Pannonios and eleven from Masclianae.
