Filadelfia

Filadelfia was a town of Media Atropatene, the Azerbaijan region of Iran, on a main road from Ecbatana to Artaxata. Older research credited its founding to a king called Arsaces, the second of that name, and looked for it between Khoy and Marand, but its site has not been found. The map counts twenty-four Roman miles from Gobdi and twenty on to Trispeda.
