Dilsen-Stokkem
Feresne was a station on the road from Nijmegen to Tongeren, in the Belgian province of Limburg near the Maas, probably at Dilsen-Stokkem, where the map's distances point. Older research tried Maaseik, Rekem, Vucht and several other villages along the river. A modern atlas dates the station to late antiquity, and apart from the map no ancient source names it.
