Faro di Bosforo
Faro di Bosforo is not an ancient name at all but a modern label, Italian for the lighthouse of the Bosporus, the strait at Byzantium, today's Istanbul. The map itself gives no name here, only a small special drawing standing on its own in the Asia Minor section. Read as a lighthouse, it would have marked the passage between the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara for sailors.
