Colopheni

The Colopheni were a people the map places in Asia, in the lands east of the Sea of Azov and north of the Taurus mountains. Unusually for a people, their name is written in black rather than the usual red. Nothing marks where they lived, but their name has been compared with the Conapseni, a people listed by the geographer Ptolemy, and the two may well be one and the same.
