Anogome is known only from this map, perhaps a slip for Anocome, with a C misread as G or misheard. It lay on the busy road from Sardis to Ephesus, probably near Kozpınar by Belevi, not far from Ephesus. Its figures look swapped: the map puts it nine miles from Hypaipa and thirty-four from Ephesus, while the real distances fit the other way round. There is no mark of its own; the place is shown only by the fork where the road from Metropolis comes in, and the route on to Ephesus crosses the river Cayster.
