Road station
Lince
Güllübahçe ? oder Kapıkırı ?
Lince is a puzzle: the name occurs only here and in the list compiled in Ravenna, on a stretch from Ephesus to Miletus. It has been sought at Doğanbey on the coast, or read as a slip for Priene. More convincing: the Ravenna list names a Heraclea two stations earlier, and on the shared model the two parts of one name, Heraclea under Mount Latmus, may have stood slightly apart and been taken for two places, which would put the station at Kapıkırı. Milestones show that a coastal road really ran here, though the fifty-six miles the map gives on to Miletus seem too many.
