Chobus

Chobus is a river on the coast of Colchis, which the Roman writer Pliny describes as flowing down from the Caucasus; Arrian puts it a hundred and eighty stades from the Phasis. The Byzantine historian Agathias records that Cubares, a prince of the Lazi, died here in 555. The river still bears the name Khopi, after a village, and because another stream joins it at its mouth, Italian sea charts of the 14th century called it Dipotamo, two rivers. The map writes both the C and the h of the name as capitals.
