Cepos

Kepoi

Cepos is Kepoi, a Greek town on the Taman peninsula, on the Asian side of the Cimmerian Bosporus. Pliny calls it the Kepoi of the Milesians, a foundation from Miletus, and the geographer Mela counts it among the four cities of the peninsula, with Hermonassa and Phanagoria. On the map it stands as a lone name, without road or distance.
