Anamo
? bei Louloudies
Anamo is probably the Anamon of the Ravenna list: the copyist seems to have missed the small stroke over the last o that stood for an n. It most likely lay at Louloudies, south of ancient Pydna, on the Sourvala stream with access to the sea. Excavations since 1993 have uncovered a basilica and a bishop's residence of the late 5th century, walled with four towers, probably in answer to the Gothic wars, together with dress fittings and jewellery from archaic times to the 8th century.
