Road station

Ad Stabulum

Listen to the story

Ad Stabulum means 'at the stable'. Very probably, though, the station is only a faulty duplicate of a place called Stabulum, written a little above it to the right on the map; older research still treated it as a place of its own and, going by the map's figures, set it at Durwen. Twenty-two Roman miles lead on to Mesyla, while the stretch from Eugoni carries no figure at all. There is no drawing, just the name on the road line.

Fully based on scientific information from TP-Online (KU Eichstätt-Ingolstadt).
