Tharsidarate

Ezirmik

Tharsidarate was a station on the army road from Satala to Artaxata, now placed at Ezirmik in eastern Turkey, though older research suggested Aghweran or Sos instead. It lay fifteen Roman miles from Autisparate and twenty from Datamissa, and the map does not mark where the stretch towards Datamissa begins. Like its neighbours on this road, it is shown by its name alone, without a picture.
