Sathena

Sathena lay twelve Roman miles from Simitta and eight from Halia, and it may be the same city as Batnae, the ancient town at Sürüç. If so, the map shows that city twice, for Batnae already stands as Batnis on the road just above. Sathena has been placed at Eski Serutsch, which is simply Old Sürüç.
