Salviana lay on the road from Sitifis to Sigus in Numidia, twenty-five Roman miles from Thadute, while the map gives no figure at all for the stretch on to Lucullianis. A milestone has been linked with the place, which is sought, with some doubt, at el Atasch. The Ravenna list may call it Solbeama, though that match still needs checking.
