Philado

Older research placed Philado at Astara on the Caspian Sea and wondered whether it is the same place as the Tilida of the Ravenna list. The map counts forty-four Roman miles to it from Teleda, but gives no figure at all for the stretch beyond. The station appears as a bare name, without a picture.
