Mesar Filia

el Outaya

Mesar Filia is Mesarfelta, today's El Outaya in Numidia, on the road that runs south from El Kantara towards the edge of the desert; the map splits the name in two. A bishop of Mesarfelta is named in 411, and Latin inscriptions have been found there. The map counts nineteen miles on to Ad Piscinam; the stretch before it, from an unnamed stop, carries no figure. The Ravenna list writes Messafilta.
