Digdida Municipium Selorum

Wadi el-Harriga

Digdida Municipium Selorum was a self-governing town of the Seli in Tripolitania, a people whose name also appears in Macomada Selorum. The poet Corippus mentions it, and the manuscripts struggle with the name: the Roman register of routes has Digdica, the Ravenna list Dicdica, and other copies Dicliga or Vigdida. The site is placed at Wadi el-Harriga in Libya, and the map shows it as a plain name with no picture. It belongs to Roman and late antique times.
