Road station
Ad Palmam
Sharfali (Miller) · Bir Umm el-Ghindel? (Barrington)
At Ad Palmam the road line gives out: the stretch on to Ad Capsum Ultimum, seventeen Roman miles, is not drawn, and although it seems natural that it continues the line from Aulazon, nothing on the map confirms it. The name means at the palm tree, and three places on the map bear it. This one is sought at Bir Umm el-Ghindel in Libya. On this stretch the Roman register of routes has a stop called Tramaricium, and the Ravenna list writes Palma.
