Ad turrem

Lubrik (Miller) · (S or E en-Nofilia) (Barrington)

The map gives Ad Turrem no picture, only its name on the road line, twelve Roman miles, about eighteen kilometres, from Ad Capsum Ultimum. The name means at the tower, and the Ravenna list makes it a tower of stone. Older research placed it at the sand hills of Lubrik; it is now sought south or east of en-Nofilia in Libya, and it belongs to late antique times.
