Ad Tine Recine
zwischen Tres Tabernae und Fanum Fugitivi [Barrington] · auf dem Monte Somma [2]
Listen to the story
Ad Tine Recine was a station on the Via Flaminia high on the Monte Somma pass between Spoleto and Terni, and its name probably joins two streams that rise there, the Tine and the Recine, now the Tissino and the Tescina. Apart from this map, only a medieval geography by Guido of Pisa knows the name. The map sets it two Roman miles from Fanum Fugitivi and eleven from Interamna.
