Coridallo

Hacıveliler

Coridallo sat on two linked rocky heights above the fertile coastal plain of Kumluca in Lycia, at Hacıveliler. Its name has been tied to the Greek word for the crested lark, though the ending sounds Lycian. An inscription attests a sanctuary of Leto, and in 375 Basil of Caesarea mentions its first known bishop, Alexander. In 1963 an early Byzantine silver treasure came to light here. On the map the stretch on to Phaselis is drawn as two, with an empty bend in the road line where no station is named.
