Ad lapidem Baium

Meschda Amaza? (Miller) · (between Gadiaufala and Thibilis) (Barrington)

Ad Lapidem Baium opens with the Latin for 'at the stone', and it was a station on the road from Gadiaufala to Thibilis, now Annuna, in Numidia. The map puts it six Roman miles from Gadiaufala but gives no figure for the stretch on to Thibilis. Its site is unknown; one suggestion, which has to correct the map's figure, looks for it at a ruin near Settara, where two streams meet.
