Thibili

Announa

Listen to the story

Thibili, the Roman Thibilis, is now the ruins of Announa in Algeria, a Numidian town whose many inscriptions name it a municipium, and the hot springs of Aquae Thibilitanae, at Hammam Meskoutine, belonged to its territory. The map places it twenty-five Roman miles from Castellum Fabatianum and seven from Capraria.
