Aquis Thibilitanis, the waters of Thibilis, are the hot springs of Hammam Meskoutine in Algeria, a little north of the ruins of ancient Thibilis, on the road from Cirta to Hippo Regius. In Christian times the spa had a bishop of its own. Its drawing mixes battlemented and plain walls, an odd detail it shares with a few other stations. The name is so faded that its first letters are best read on a photograph taken in 1888.
