Vindenis

Glavnik?

Vindenis, the Vendenis of the Greek geographer Ptolemy, was a station on the road from Ulpiana to Naissus, perhaps at Glavnik in Kosovo; older research placed it near Podujevo, where ruins were reported. The map sets Vindenis nineteen Roman miles, about twenty-eight kilometres, from Vicianum and twenty from Ad Fines.
