Road station
unnamed / illegible, no. 60
? Gölova, ehem. Ağvanis ?
This unnamed stop is only an empty kink in the road line between Nicopolis and Draconis, a sign that one or two stations dropped out in copying. The missing name was probably Olotoedariza, a station in the Roman register of routes, perhaps also the base of a cavalry regiment, the Ala Rizena, in the late Roman list of garrisons. It is now generally placed at Gölova, once Ağvanis, where a milestone from between 367 and 375 AD, column fragments and other worked stones have been found, almost certainly the remains of a Roman road station.
