An unnamed stop follows Sure, just two Roman miles from that town, and it is one of the puzzles of the map. Beside it stands the figure eight, which presumably means that another stretch of road continued from here, but its start is not marked and its name is missing as well. Where that road led, and how it ran in relation to the Euphrates, there is no way of knowing.
