Road station

Tinna [Flumen

Listen to the story

Tinna was probably the bridge over the river Tenna on the coast road of Picenum, or the station beside it, just two Roman miles, about three kilometres, from the harbour of Fermo. The map writes only Tinna, most likely because there was no room left for the word river, and the list of places compiled in Ravenna gives the name twice, once miscopied as Pinna.
