Timaco Minori, Lesser Timacum, was a fort on the road from Naissus to Ratiaria, at Ravna in the Timok valley of Serbia; the Greek geographer Ptolemy lists a Timacum, and older research placed the fort at Vrbica. The map sets it ten Roman miles from Timacum Maius and twenty-seven from Combustica; in that last figure one stroke is faint, but not in doubt.
