Road station

Sulim

Pontivy?

Sulim was a station on the road from Angers to Brest, between Vannes and Carhaix. Its exact place is unknown, though it surely lay in today's Morbihan. Suggestions include the area of Pontivy, whose castle housed a collection of antiquities, Hennebont, and the important ancient site of Castennec. Even the proper form of the name, Sulim or Sulis, is uncertain, and no written source besides the map mentions it. On the map, the road onward to Dartoritum is broken by a gap, left to make room for the name of a river it crosses.
